Instagram is a global visual platform centered on images and short videos. It is useful for researching industry content, brands, creators and prospective customers. SeekClue supports two discovery paths: finding users through hashtags and analyzing the followers and following relationships of relevant accounts.

Start by checking how much content exists for the target term. In the Auto parts example, approximately 1.06 million related posts were found. If a business publishes around 100 posts on average, this provides an initial estimate of the potential account pool before collection begins.
This estimate helps assess hashtag scale and should not be treated as an exact business count.
After hashtag analysis, collect public accounts associated with terms such as Auto parts and review usernames, bios, location signals and visible contact information. Results may include target-market businesses, Chinese suppliers and personal accounts, so further qualification is required.

Enter a relevant account such as enginebearingmanufacture to organize its public followers and following relationships. The example account showed 1,092 followers and 3,062 following accounts, providing a starting point for researching interested users, peer companies and potential customers.

The example task produced 2,238 usable follower and following records. This was lower than the visible profile totals because the system filters some inactive accounts, duplicates and restricted users. The qualified dataset can then support further audience expansion and prospect research.
